Distributors see VA services as key to growth

Distributors believe that value-added services hand-in-hand with new products will drive growth in 2005.The survey reveals that distributors focus heavily on providing value-added services to their customers across all industries.About 48% or US10.7 billion of the Top 75 distributors' sales were derived from value-added services last year.That's up significantly from 29.5% or US5.6 billion last year.Forty of the Top 75 report that value-added services will be a big source of growth in 2005.
