ALTAGAS PROVIDES ACCESS TO PREMIUM ASIAN MARKETS FOR CANADIAN PRODUCERS

AltaGas Ltd. announced on May 24 that its wholly owned subsidiary, AltaGas LPG Limited Partnership, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Astomos Energy Corporation setting out key commercial terms for the sale and purchase of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from the proposed Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal. The Export Terminal provides AltaGas' customers with the opportunity to realize incremental value through access to Asian markets and pricing for western Canadian propane.
