Apply the second irrigation to wheat sown during November and first irrigation to wheat sown during December. To late sown wheat, apply second dose of N with first irrigation. For correcting the deficiency of manganese and sulphur and effective weed management details are given in the last issue of Progressive Farming. For controlling GulliDanda anew herbicide Axial (Pinoxadon 5 EC) at 400 ml g/acre can also be used and its time of application is the same. In addition, Aim/Affinity 40 DF (carfentrazone ethyl) at 20 g/acre for controlling broadleaf weeds including Button weeds has been recommended. Spray this herbicide 30 days after sowing.
