摘要

Proper care of kitchen utencils, crockery and cutlery is important so that they keep looking attractive, last longer and provide efficient service. There is wide choice these days in selection of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. Housewives makethe careful purchase of these items, but it is equally important to take proper care of these vessels and table ware, so that they keep looking attractive, last longer and do not become junk. The common metals used in these vessels and table-ware are aluminium, iron, stainless steel, tin, glass, china, plastic and silver. The utensils with applied finishes like of chromium, nickeitin and enameled pans also need special care. The new materials and finishes like stallion finish, non-stick ware and anodized and galvanized finish have to be technically cared for. Hence it will be wiser to know these materials which are used in making the common kitchen utensils and crockery-cutlery and also the ways to maintain the materials rather than just knowing the care of the items made from these materials.
