Genital prolapse is a serious condition : don't ignore it

Prolapse of genitalia involves eversion of some part or whole of the vagina and cervix in pregnant animals that protrudes out. Non-pregnant animals may also be affected with the condition of the animal or stage of pregnancy, it warrants immediate attention. MANY cases of prolapse of genitalia are encountered during the summer months, especially during May to July. Change in fodder from leguminous to non-leguminous crops leads to mineral imbalance, thus predisposing the animals to prolapse of genitalia.
