UICT honours its own with 'Distinguished Alumni Awards'; 'joys' of innovation highlighted

The year 2002 has been historic in the existence of the erstwhile University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) owing to its renaming to a more appropriate University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT), on the propitious event of Republic Day - 26~(th) January 2002. With this the institute aims to rededicate itself to the cause of education in chemical sciences and technology and to serve the chemical and allied industries in India and abroad-a task that it has performed right from its inception in 1934.
