After six decades, Al Romero is finished. And for a guy who has spent so many years helping others in the surface finishing industry, that's quite an accomplishment. At the age of 83, Gabriel 'Al' Romero called it a career at American Metal Finishing Systems (Tulsa, OK), a plating chemicals distributor. Until his last day in December, he was continuing to make calls, still working to help the customer on the other end of the line with whatever task he was facing.
