The effect of tansy phacelia on the occurrence of some broad bean pests.

Field studies were conducted in Poland, In 2006-2008, to test the effect of tansy phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia) on the occurrence faba bean pests. In all years of observations, the lowest number of Aphis fabae was recorded in the combination of phacelia intercropped with faba bean. Intercropping did not effect the occurrence of Sitona spp. and Bruchus rufimanus.
