Standardizing 911

Conversion software reprojects a unique Wisconsin coordinate system to improve the accuracy of its 911 and property ownership maps. TopComp, a GIS services firm in Michigan, was the first to use GPS for 911 purposes in the state. The company has been instrumental in developing digital mapping standards for many geographical locations, and today their client base spreads from Alabama to the northern reaches of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Their diverse client base has helped TopComp's professionals gain extensive experience in a variety of GIS mapping software and technologies.
