Interlaminar fracture is the way of failure which occurs most frequently in fibre-reinforced composite structures. The reasons which lead to interlaminar fracture are faults in manufacture, damage caused in use, and interlaminar stresses. In case of loads, delaminations appear in fibre-reinforced composites. Interlaminar shear strength is a measure of delamination. This article examines the interlaminar shear strength of multi-layered flexing carriers in a fibre hybrid construction from GFRP and CFRP. The test bars made of GFRP and CFRP were manufactured in two different ways: by integrating manufacture in an autoclaving process and by bonding after an individual manufacture of the composite components. A determination of interlaminar shear strength was made by means of the three-point bending test.
