IPMI New England Chapter Announces Annual Clambake & Design Competition Presentation

The New England Chapter of International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) is pleased to announce its Annual Indoor Clambake and 13~(th) Annual Jewelry Design Awards Presentation on May 14, 2003 at the Squantum Club in East Providence, Rhode Island. The Jewelry Design Award Competition is open to all college students enrolled in a Jewelry Design or Metalsmithing program in any New England College or University. All entries are judged on the basis of an effective design and function as a piece of jewelry. Cash Prizes include the LaFazia Memorial Award of 750 dollars, the IPMI President's Award of 500 dollars, and Runner-Up Award of 250 dollars. Additional entries may be awarded as Honorable Mentions up to 100 dollars at the discretion of the jury. IPMI's Jewelry Design Awards is an annual event to showcase and "recognize the wealth of talent, design and manufacturing skills of our students."
