Dutch trader Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group has entered the Brazilian market with the acquisition of domestic offshore product distributor Tubexpress. "Van Leeuwen's strategy is aimed at expanding and strengthening its market positions in several countries and industrial segments through acquisitions and autonomous growth. Acquisitions are aimed at expanding specialties and enlarging the company's geographical footprint," said Van Leewen. The company did not disclose the cost of the acquisition.
