Shell Plans LNG Terminal on the U.S.Gulf Coast

Shell says it plans to build a US700-million liquefield natural gas (LNG) import terminal 38 miles off the coast of western Louisiana.The planned treminal would have capacity to handle 1 billion cu ft/day of natural gas,and is scheduled to start operations by 2009,Shell says.
