Bell Geospace Awarded Contract for Data Acquisition Survey in Mongolia

Bell Geospace. one of the leaders in full tensor gravity gradiometry data acquisition, announced recently that it has been awarded a contract to acquire approximately 4,247 square miles of data onshore Mongolia, by Petro Matad Limited. The programme marks the first time that the full tensor gradiometer technique will be applied to oil and gas exploration in the country, demonstrating the growing appreciation for FTG data acquisition across the world. The survey will commence in September. 2015 and cover Blocks IV and V in central Mongolia, an area of mountainous desert and steppe.
