Geology Rocks for Aberdeen Students

摘要

Postgraduate geology students, from the University of Aberdeen, are set to embark on an important expedition which will introduce them to the challenges of oil exploration in the West coast of Scotland, thanks to the continued support from independent oil and gas company, Fairfield Energy. A group of 20 PhD students, from the University's Department of Geology and Petroleum Geology, will travel to the Isles of Skye and Raasay to improve their understanding of Scottish geology.The group will use field analogues to promote discussions on various aspects of petroleum systems.
