For some time now, there has been a tug of war between litho and digital: the latter technology has been playing catch-up, but according to the experts, it now appears to be eating into the short-run end of the litho sector. Improvements in print quality and speed have seen digital hogging the headlines of late, and, with inkjet looming large on the horizon as well, the feeling is that the best of digital is yet to come.
