摘要

Recent studies have shown that introduction of triphenylamine, and carbazole into conjugated polymers lead to significantly improved hole transport property. However, as a well-known electron-donor, the phenothiazine, which has been used in organic conductors, dye-sensitized photovoltaic cell, and electrochromic materials, electrochemiluminescence devices, has not obtained enough attention in organic LEDs. In our lab, we have synthesized donor-acceptor oligomer and polymer of alternating phenothiazine and quinoline and found that the oligomer showed strong electrogenerated chemiluminenscence properties. Recently the synthesis of aryl bridged and directly linked redox active phenothiazinyl dyads and triads was recently reported by Kraemer et al.
