UK Nanotechnology network

The establishment of a network of 22 nanotechnology centres across the UK was officially launched at the UK Technology Strategy Board's annual conference, Innovate 2006, in London on 2 November. The network, which incorporates the former Micro and Nanotechnology Capital Facilities, has been supported with 50 million pounds in Government funding. Further investment has been forthcoming from Regional Development Agencies, Devolved Administrations and industry.
