Surface morphological stability modeling of shrp asphalts

摘要

The microstructure model of asphalt considered historically by this group has been described in terms of a Pal-Rhodes-type emulsion model [1,2].In this model,asphaltenes are thought of as strongly associated (hard core) clusters of molecules,which are kept dispersed by more weakly associated components,called resins,present in a solvent-maltene phase.
