THE CHALLENGE FOR ARDS CATALYST REGENERATION

摘要

Hydrotreating catalysts for fixed bed reactor deactivate mainly due to the deposition of carbonaceous material (coke).Therefore,the deactivated catalysts can be regenerated by coke burning in the off-site oven.However,in the case of residue hydroprocessing catalyst (ARDS catalyst),only small part of catalyst unloaded can be regenerated because of the difficulty in the prediction of steep deactivation by metal deposition.
