摘要

The aim of this paper is to investigate the ore-coke contact surface impact on gas reducer diffusion processes in depth of reduced material grains. It was found that using fine-grained coke assortments as a substitute for apart of the primary coke increased the ore-coke contact surface, which in turn increased reductivity of the charge both in the layered and the mixed material loading system. Adding a quick coke or a nut coke affected division of phases in a sinter and. increased the amount of pores during reduction, which improved the conditions of reduction gas diffusion in depth of the grains of iron-bearing material and allowed obtaining higher degrees of reduction.
