Shandong Chenming slates 5% price increases for uncoated and coated fne paper exports

China’s Shandong Chenming Paper Holdings has announced price increases of 5% for exports of both uncoated and coated fine paper (UFP and CFP), effec- tive on deliveries from February 1. A spokesman ascribed the decision to a strengthening US dollar, rising ocean freight costs and an attempt to recoup the compa- ny’s losses from marketing its products in China and overseas over the past year.
