Argentina opens anti-circumvention probe into coated paper imports from China and Finland

The Argentinian Ministry of Production has decided to initiate an anti-circumvention investigation into imports of certain coated paper from China and Finland. The probe, requested by Argentinian paper producer Ledesma, is aimed at determining whether coated paper originating from these two countries is evading anti-dumping duties (ADDs) that were imposed in 2012. The product, subject to investigation is coated paper or paper-board in rolls or sheets, containing 10-50% of fiber obtained by the mechanical or chemi-mechanical process.
