Hindustan Paper makes headway with Jagdishpur mill scheme in India but no start date yet

Hindustan Paper has got the green light from the Indian authorities to build its long-planned 300,000 tonne/yr fine paper mill in the Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh. The firm formed a subsidiary, Jagdishpur Paper Mill, to set up the plant in 2007, planning to begin production in 2010 (No. 14, 2009, p.6). However, real estate ownership disputes effecting plantation establishment stymied substantial advances in the project.
