We report a case of special difficult airway because of an intracranial foreign body of bamboo chopstick, in a 2-year-old boy, who weighed 20 kg. He was sent to hospital 6 h after a chopstick was mistakenly inserted through the mouth into intracranial. The accident happened when the patient was having lunch and accidentally fell down from the chair; a 24 -cm long chopstick got stuck in the skull through the mouth. However, the child still kept a clear consciousness without obvious sign of bleeding in mouth (Figure la).
