PM centre in New Zealand to focus on titanium

A new Applied Powder Metallurgy Centre was opened at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic's Windermere Campus in Tauranga, New Zealand, in July 2010 to focus on developing applications for high-grade titanium alloy powders manufactured by a new affordable production process. The titanium alloy powders will be produced by local company Titanox Development following several years of research at Waikato University.
