Variation of Pressures in Flexible Walled Silo Model

摘要

This paper analyzes factors influencing the distribution of pressures in silos,particularly for silos with flexible walls,and the Variable coefficient k which is defined as the ratio of horizontal to Vertical pressure.Discrepancies with regard to the quantitative tormulation of the value and ranges of coefficient k are pointed out.The authors' research carried out on a model with flexible Walls aimed at determining the effect of wall flexibility on pressure values in a silo are presented.
