Modular construction,fully Tested,delivered ready for operation

Stuttgart,Germany-The Coperion group in Stuttgart has inaugurated a new modular concept for the planning,construction,testing,and ready-for-operation delivery of a complete turnkey compounding plant that includes unit operations from material preparation all the way through to packaging.The basic idea is to take functional units of the turnkey plant which have been designed to customer specifications and combine them into modules,then to fully assemble and wire each of these modules in a steel framework.The modules are connected electrically by plug-and-receptacle connectors and mechanically via a few defined interfaces.Before shipping,the compounding plant is set up at Coperion and tested.The customer can witness the functional performance of the plant,using,if desired,the exact commercial materials and thus test the quality of the compounded end product.
