摘要

In dense-phase pneumatic conveying,the conveying efficiency is higher,any anomalies such as fines,froth or the like which can cause trouble or difficulty in the dilute-phase conveying substantially can not be generated,and the conveying materials are rarely crushed.In view of these merits,dense-phase pneumatic conveying was increasingly applied in recent years.Of a variety of characteristics of the plug type pneumatic conveying,the pressure drop and the conveying flow modes are subjected to many experimental and theoretical analyses.Also,in a limited scope of the application of the plug type conveying,some reports are made on the results of the computer simulations and the like for the state of conveying through the pipeline [1].On the other hand,several reports were also made on the researches and elucidation of the scale-up methods of this type of conveying.However,these methods still need some further examination to achieve the facility of calculation and also wide applicability.
