IPCL to merge six polyester cos with itself

INDIAN Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL) will merge six polyester manufacturing companies with itself,a move that is set to result in forward integration of the Vadodara-based company in the petrochemicals chain.The board of directors of IPCL approved the merger of Apollo Fibres Ltd (AFL),Central India Polyester Ltd (CIPL),India Polyfibres Ltd (IPL),Orissa Polyfibres Ltd (OPL),Recron Synthetics Ltd (RSL) and Silvassa Industries Pvt Ltd (SIPL) with IPCL,subject to necessary approvals.
