Colour-Chem net profit up 11%

COLOUR-Chem has reported improved results for the quarter ended 31,December 2005,with net profit up by 11% at INR 132 lakhs as compared with INR 119 lakhs for the corresponding period of the previous year.Net sales at INR 9581 lakhs also grew by more than 14% over the previous period.Other Expenditure for the quarter rose substantially,largely on account of a one time adjustment of profit on sale of land amounting to INR 118 lakhs.
