AUSTRIA-BASED plastics processing machine manufacturer Engel has included an automatic mold changing system, Engel famox, in its product range, claiming that it can change molds in less than a minute.Engel said the new system suits the need of modern manufacturing that requires the production of a larger range of models in ashorter lifecycles. It is equipped with control logic, visualization and ergonomics of the CC 200 control unit applied by the company's injection molding machines. Thus, data can be transferred without the need for external interfaces.
