WACKER to showcase ELASTOSIL products at the FAKUMA event for plastics processing

AT the 2011 FAKUMA international tradeshow for plastics processing, WACKER, the Munich-based chemical Group, will showcase the ELASTOSIL LR 3066 product range among other products. This food-grade liquid silicone rubber exhibits extremely low-friction-coefficient surface properties. Moreover, the product offers another special feature. Adjoined silicone surfaces or slits do not heal even when post-curing without the use of release agents. Thus, the liquid silicone rubber facilitates and enhances the production of food-industry dosing valves. FAKUMA 2011 takes place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from October 18 to 22.
