Reducing dead on arrival poultry in hot climates

Heat stress on the way to the processing plant can impact efficiency and profitability; however, there are measures that can be taken to keep dead on arrival to a minimum. The 21st century may already be characterized by breaking records, but these have not always been positive. The world population has reached 7 billion. This needs to be contrasted with the fact that, where production of the most important cereals is concerned, harvests have reached 7 tons per hectare for wheat in France and Egypt,5 tons per hectare for rice in Japan and South Korea and 10 tons per hectare for corn in the US. There is a need, more than ever before, to produce more efficiently.
