75 years of progress in Russian further poultry processing

The All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Poultry Processing is deservedly proud of its achievements since it was founded 75 years ago. To mark its anniversary, the Institute recently-hosted an international scientific conference. Seventy-fiveyears ago, the People's Commissariat College of Home and Foreign Trade of the U.S.S.R. founded the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Poultry Processing (VNIIPP). Its primary aims were to formulate plans and then develop techniques for poultrymeat and egg production and processing on a commercial scale. Since those early days, specialists and scientists of the Institute have striven to solve the problems of the poultry industry and form strategies for the development of integrated poultry enterprises.
