摘要

Shyam Sunder Sharma, chairman and managing director of the Rs 199 crore, Kanpur-based Ganesh Polytex Ltd (on..), has been churning out polyester staple fibres and yarns from used PUT (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles for years. The company is tin- largest PET waste re-cycler in India, with a capacity of 57,600 tonnes per annum (tpa), thus dislodging polymer giant Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL).
