Plastic injection molding machine accounts for the largest share in the total output of plastic processing machinery. As per Research and Markets, this type of equipment accounts for 40% of total output of plastic processing machines in China and 50-80% in Germany, Japan and the USA. The global plastic injection molding machine market has developed at an annual average rate of 3.5% in recent years. Output in 2006 reached 91,480, and grew to 97,250 in 2007. However, the output experienced continuous downslide in 2008 as well as 2009 by 10% and 5% respectively because of global financial crisis.
