Infusion Mouldings using Epolam 2090 enhances polymer properties

With the increasing demand of large, high-temperature resistant molded parts in many aerospace applications Axson Technologies has introduced an infusion molding system that uses Epolam 2090 epoxy resin with GCI 190 gelcoat. The technology combines the resin's low viscosity properties with the gelcoat's high temperature resistance. Infusion molding is done at room temperature, which allows greater dimensional accuracy by avoiding thermal expansion.
