One downside of increasingly compact portable devices is the limit this in turn places on screen size,be it a mobile phone,personal digital assistant,or electronic book.Now,a new generation of flexible,foldable,and reliable displays based on"electronic ink"circuits and transistors inkjet-printed onto typically PET or PEN substrates is enabling designers of pocket-size devices to incorporate displays that are actually larger than the device itself.
