China's recyclers seek relief, request to loose restrictions

Looking for some relief from a difficult economic environment, China's plastic recyclers are asking the government to loosen restrictions on some waste plastic imports. According to reports a recycling industry trade group has formally asked the government to reverse some restrictions it has on imports of waste plastic and to allow in a freer flow of some post-consumer film, including agricultural film, bags and whole plastic bottles, among several categories.
