EBITA rises 48% in 2007/Growth reported in Europe and the US/Efficiency improvements a major factor

Plastic packaging manufacturer Superfos(Vippefoed/Denmark;www.superfos.com)said efficiency improvements and satisfactory growth rates in many European markets contributed to a 48% rise in earnings on continuing operations last year.EBITA reached EUR 28.4m,up from EUR 19.2m in 2006,after adjusting for acquisitions,divestments and other nonrecurring items.
