India to reduce taxes on Singapore chemicals,plastics,textiles

Sydney-India is planning to reduce,and in some cases,eliminate eventually,import taxes on certain chemical,textile,plastic and rubber products from Singapore,between 2008 and 2015,India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in late December.The products are part of a group of 539 items outlined in an amendment of a bilateral trade pact signed in 2005,the India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement.
