Shin Etsu PVC expansion expected on line by July 2006

London-The expansion of Shin Etsu's polyvinyl chloride facility at Pernis,the Netherlands from 380,000mt/year to 450,000mt/year was expected to be completed by July 2006,a company source said June 7.The PVC plant was just coming back onstream following a short shut-down during which the new reactor was fitted and computer systems for the extra capacity were installed.The plant would be fully online by June 8,a second source said.
