Five of Six Widely Used Chemicals Subject to Directive Banned by Country

SEOUL-South Korea's Ministry of Environment Oct.8 issued a notice implementing a,ban on five potentially harmful substances widely,used in consumer goods,including products often handled by children.The measure is a follow-up to a February directive calling for a ban or severe restriction on the manufacture,import,and use of six chemicals widely used in children's toys,hospital supplies,construction materials,and other consumer products.
