Global propylene demand growth set to stay strong from 2006 to 2015

Singapore-The average annual growth rate of global propylene demand,is forecast to remain strong at 4.9%,from 2006 to 2015,said Dr Andrew Swanson,Vice President of the Commodity Chemical Practice of US-based Nexant Chemsystems.Speaking January 22 at CMT's Fourth Phenol-Acetone and Derivatives Markets conference in Shanghai,China,Swanson said Asia is expected to emerge as the largest user of propylene by 2015.
