Ineos to buy BP's VAM,etac businesses at Hull,UK

London-UK's Ineos announced January 11 that it has reached an agreement to buy the vinyl acetate monomer and ethyl acetate businesses from BP.The deal comprises a 500,000 mt/year production capacity at the Saltend manufacturing site near Hull,UK--250,000 mt/year each of VAM and etac--along with BP's Teesside to Saltend Ethylene Pipeline (TSEP),Ineos said in a statement.The acquisition price was not disclosed.
