Chinese state-controlled integrated refiner and petrochemicals producer China Petroleum & Chemical Corp posted a 20.36% slump in profit of Yuan 8.60-bil (us1.06-bil) for the quarter ended Sep 30,2005.The result,based on international financial reporting standards,was down from Yuan 10.79-bil in the corresponding period of 2004.Turnover for the quarter was Yuan 224.13-bil,up 39.9% from Yuan 160.21-bil in 2004.
