PetroChina to build 800,000 mt/yr ethylene project in western China

Singapore-PetroChina and Chengdu Petrochemical Co have received approval from China's National Development and Reform Commission to build an 800,000 mt/yr ethylene plant in Sichuan province in western China,local media said.The project was finalized after a marathon application process lasting 17 years.
