This new "Cytra' resin from GE Plastics is made by using proprietary compatibilizing technology n combining acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene and polybutyelne terephthalate. According to product manager Dean Ditmar, "these resins offer automotive parts manufacturers a potential material cost savings of as much as 25% when compared to traditional engineering thermoplastics and polypropylenes."
