Aplix,Inc.,Charlotte,N.C.,is cooperating with GE Advanced Materials,Pittsfield,Mass.,to make available technology for injection molding hook fasteners from GE's Noryl GTX (PPOylon),Cycoloy PC/ABS,Xylex PC/polyester,and Xenoy PC/PBT.Patented Inter-mold technology,which uses a proprietary tooling insert to mold the tiny hooks,is available for license to injection molders from Aplix,formerly Velcro France,which bought the former Inter-Mold Co.of Naples,Fla.
